Yani Cannabis faced the challenge of high upfront costs for state-of-the-art lighting in their Maine cultivation facility. To overcome this obstacle, they partnered with Climate Resources Group to help them take advantage of the Efficiency Maine program. Climate Resources Group's Enlighten Your Grow team handled the application process, calculated the project's energy savings, and coordinated the incentive payout. Yani Cannabis received an impressive $111,379 incentive check from Efficiency Maine, covering more than half of the equipment cost. With an estimated payback period of just over 1.5 years, the project is projected to save over 400,000 kWh of energy annually, equivalent to emissions from over 700,000 passenger vehicles.
